Adolfo Lopez Garcia, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly beat a 45 year-old woman in the face with his fist.
Reports said that the victim suffered numerous bruises, a busted nose and in the process losing a large amount of blood as the result of the attack.
The incident occurred at a home on Mcghee Street.
Garcia is charged with battery.
