Anthony Michael Rule, 29 of Lindale, was jailed after being arrested at the Family Dollar on Park Avenue after reports said he hit another person in the head, causing a cut to their eye.
Reports added that the victim also suffered cuts to their knees and hands.
Rule is charged with battery.
