Tyrece Jamol Burell Diamond, 22 of Rome, was arrested this week on numerous drug and weapon charges after police executed a search warrant at the Fairbridge Inn on Martha Berry Blvd.
Reports said that officers found 25 Xanax /Alprazolam pills that were not in their original container. He was also found with 13 Ecstasy pills, a large amount of marijuana, numerous baggies and a digital scale. He was also foudn with a loaded, aurus PT 1911 handgun.
Officers stated that Diamond attempted to jump out of a window in an effort to avoid arrest. During the chase Dimaond dropped the gun on the ground.
Diamond is charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, probation violation, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, two counts purchase, possession, manufacture, sale or distribution of marijuana, reckless conduct, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, two counts obstruction, possession of a gun during the commission of a crime, drugs not in original container, possession of synthetic marijuana, two counts felony obstruction and failure to appear.
