Rome Teen Charged in String of Car Break-Ins

Jeffrey Austin Furmage, 19 of Rome, was arrested after police said he broke into numerous vehicles across Floyd County committed thefts.

Reports said that the thefts occurred on Darlington Way, East 10^th Street and Eastridge Court.

Furmage is charged with seven counts entering an automobile with intent to commit a theft, possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, criminal trespass and possession of marijuana.
