Jerome Leo Vaughner, 22 of Rome, was arrested after police said he threw car keys at a 30 year-old woman, causing her to suffer visible injury.
Reports said that the victim suffered a bruise and cut to her arm from the attack.
Reports added that the keys were also broke during the alterrcation.
A small child was also at home at the time.
Vaughner is charged with battery, cruelty to children and criminal trespass.
