David Deote Milton, 35 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly was found to be in an intoxicated state while attempting to resist medical personal.
Reports said that Milton attempted to kick and punch at medical staff at a location on North Broad and Harvey Streets.
Police stated that while attempting to place Milton under arrest he began to resist officer and proceeded to kick at them.
He was found then found to be in possession of unidentifiable pills that were not in a prescription bottle.
Milton is charged with public drunk, drugs not in original container, obstruction of law enforcement, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, obstruction of an officer, interference with emergency medical professional by use of threats.
