Timothy Wayne Buford, 55 of Rome, was arrested this week after allegedly stealing water from the city of Rome.
Reports stated that Buford attached a hose to someone else’s property on Garden Lakes Blvd in order to attain free water.
Police said that the theft occurred back on July 12 of this year.
Buford is charged with theft of service and probation violation.
