Rome police arrested Sadarius Antwonn Mathis, 34, Tuesday after he was wanted for the shooting of Timothy Wilson, who was living at the hotel.  Wilson was shot in the neck, shoulder and hand.

Police added that Wilson was taken to a local hospital and is expected to recover.

Witnesses said that two men were sitting in their cars, window to window, when one got out and fired at least three shots at the other.

They went on to tell police that the shooter, later identified as Mathis, drove off in his vehicle.

Mathis was found at a home on Maple Road hours after the shooting.
