Devon Lamar Harris, 29 of Cartesville, was arrested in Rome on Monday after attempting to burglarize a home on Branham Avenue.
Reports said that Harris stole $2,485 worth of property from the home just after midnight Monday.
Harris is charged with first degree burglary, theft by taking and loitering.
