Rafael deJesus Cintron, 36 of Rome, was arrested on Thursday after assaulting two children under the age of 18 years.

Reports said that Cintron caused “severe pain” when he yelled at the children, and another adult, while cursing and pointing his finger. Reports added that the victims were placed in “reasonable fear of receiving bodily injury”.

Authorities then said that Cintron broke a window before leaving the home. They added that Cinton left in a vehicle, but did so without a valid driver’s license.

The victim reported that Cintron then proceeded to make harassing telephone calls and text message with the intent to harass her.

Police went on to say that while investigating the incident Cintron failed to comply with verbal commands.

The incident occurred at a home on Reynolds Bend Road.

Cintron is charged with harassing communications, obstruction of law enforcement, driving without a license, criminal trespass, three counts of simple assault and two counts of cruelty to children.
