Gregory Lee Griffies, 55 of Rome, was arrested for the 2nd time in less than a week for crimes committed against his elderly mother.
Reports said that a protection order had been taken out against Griffies before he placed his mother in fear of her safety earlier this month.
The order was taken against him in April 2016 after he allegedly threatened to kill her.
Griffies was jailed Thursday for aggravated stalking.
In April 2016 he was jailed for terroristic threats and acts and cruelty to an elderly person.
Gregory Lee Griffies, 55 of Rome, was arrested June 2, 2017 after he allegedly made physical contact with his 74 year-old mother in a violent manner, which placed her in fear of her safety.
Griffies is charged with battery and disorderly conduct.
