Brian Lydell Murphy, 33 of Rome, was arrested on Wednesday after he was accused of grabbing a woman that had a protection order against him at a store on Turner McCall Boulevard.
Reports stated that Murphy grabbed the woman with such force he left bruises on her.
Murphy is charged with aggravated stalking and simple battery.
