Gabriel Wayne Sutherland, 41 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports stated that he broke into numerous buildings and stole items before pawning them at shops around the city.
Reports stated that Sutherland took items from a 74 year-old woman on Fairhaven Drive between November 2016 and January 2017.
He is also accused of stealing a security camera, Nike backpack, Nike soccer cleats, Nike shin guards, and Nike shoes form a home on Billy Pyle Road. Reports stated that the theft occurred on January 18th of this year.
Sutherland is charged with felony theft by taking, exploitation of an elderly person, three counts of theft by deception, theft by taking and second degree burglary.
