Jerome Johnny Kilgore II, 31 of Rome, was arrested at a home on Orystes Drive Wednesday after becoming disorderly.  Authorities said that while being placed under arrest Kilgore refused to get in the back of a patrol car.

Reports went on to state that while at the Floyd County Jail Kilgore resisted deputy’s orders.  Officers said that Kilgore threatened deputies before attempting to head butt one. They added that Kilgore then proceeded to spit in the face of another officer before hitting  a deputy in the face with a closed fist.

Kilgore is charged with three counts of battery, simple assault, disorderly conduct, felony obstruction and willful obstruction of law enforcement.
