April Ann Davis, 41 of Rome, was arrested at a home on Beech Creek Drive after she allegedly lied to police during an investigation.
Reports stated that she gave officers a false name before attempting to flee the scene on foot. Davis was captured after a short chase.
Police then discovered Davis’ true identity and found out that she had an active warrant for her arrest.
Davis is charged with giving false name to police, obstruction and a parole violation.
