Elijah Noel Spurgeon, 22 of Rome, was arrested on Friday on kidnapping charges.
Reports stated that Spurgeon grabbed a woman by the throat and forced her into his car before taking her to another location back on January 5, 2017.
Police added that 20 year-old Luis P. Rodrigeuz, of Rome, was also arrested in the case for allegedly giving Spurgeon access to transportation.
Spurgeon is charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, hindering and investigation and possession of marijuana. Rodriguez is charged with hindering the apprehension of a criminal.
