Amanda Renee Towe, 32 of Rome, found herself behind bars on Saturday after police said she allegedly stole from an elderly disabled woman.
Reports stated that between December 1 and January 12, 2017 Towe gained access to a 63 year-old woman’s financial accounts and then took money for personal usage. Authorities said that Towe told the victim that she would repay her, but never did so.
Reports added that the victim was in Towe’s medical care at the time of theft.
Towe is charged with theft by deception and exploitation of an elderly person.
