Dexter Christopher Barnett, 43 of Aragon, was arrested over the weekend after he drug a female by her hair, causing her to sustain a cut and bruise on her arm. He then proceeded to hit the woman in the back of the head with a wine glass.
Two minor children were in the room when the crime occurred.
Barnett is charged with cruelty to children and battery.
