Theresa Lynne Duffey, 54 of Rome, was arrested over the weekend after lying to a victim in order to have them to pay for a hotel room.
Reports stated that the victim was given a “sad story to illicit sympathy” to pay $85.50 for the hotel room.
Duffey is charged with theft by deception.
