Jericka Juswella Staples, 33 of Rome, was arrested after a traffic stop on West 1st Street uncovered drugs.
Reports stated that Staples was pulled over after Deputy Chris Parton spotted her driving on the wrong side of the road. Reports added that during the stop it was discovered that Staples license had been suspended. It was also discovered that she was driving impaired.
Once at the jail, reports stated that she was found with four Hydrocodone pills.
Staples is charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, drugs not in original container, driving under the influence, failure to maintain lane and driving on a suspended or revoked license.
