Floyd County deputy coroner Gene Proctor said that 30 year-old Whitney Nicole Grogan was killed in a motorcycle wreck on Reeceburg Road near Donahoo Road Monday afternoon.
Proctor said that it appeared as if Grogan lost control of her bike and struck bushes, rocks and trees.
He added that she suffered massive head trauma and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Authorities said that it didn’t appear that speed nor another vehicle were contributing factors to the wreck.
