Shawntilia Shawnay Stewart, 28 of Rome, was arrested on Thursday after police said she left her three children at her residence for a time period without supervision.
Reports stated that Stewart said she went out for a walk with one of her friends. Reports added that one of the children was three years of age.
Stewart is charged with three counts of reckless conduct and cruelty to children in the second degree
