Joel Wayne Davis, 26 of Rome, was arrested this week for allegedly attacking a woman at a home on Green and Gold Boulevard. Reports stated that Davis hit a 33 year-old woman in the face, resulting in swelling and bruising.
Reports went on to state that Davis damaged interior walls of the victim’s apartment, which belonged to the Rome Housing Authority. Then also allegedly damaged a television, end table and sound bar speaker.
The victim also told police that he took two telephones and $45 cash before exiting the residence.
Davis is charged with three counts of theft by taking, battery, interference with government property and criminal trespass.
