Devante Japal Daniels, 24 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly stole thousands of dollars from the Aids Resource Council in Floyd County.
Reports stated that Daniels changed the information of eleven checks from July 8th until August 22nd of this year totaling $4,243.70 that were written to other people.
He is also charged with stealing $1,829.62 electronically from the organization back in July.
Reports added that Daniels also stole a Nutri-bullett and microwave from Wal-Mart back on October 31.
Daniels is charged with theft by taking, forgery and theft by shoplifting.
