Marjorell Loletha Stamper, 31 of Rome, was arrested at the Floyd County Courthouse while in possession of marijuana Thursday.
Reports stated that Stamper was in court for not paying child support, and as a result was sentenced to jail on a contempt of court charge.
During a pat down of Stamper deputies discovered that she had a small bag of suspected marijuana in her front pocket.
Stamper is charged with contempt of court and possession of marijuana.
