Jonathan Benjamin Whatley, 32 of Rome, was arrested on Thursday at the corner of Hwy 411 and Dodd Boulevard after he allegedly told police that he had marijuana in his jacket.
Reports added that Whatley also was in possession of a scale used to weigh the drug.
Whatley is charged with possession of drug related objects and the purchase possession manufacture distribution or sale of marijuana.
