Conswaylow Lashawn Thompson, 33 of Rome, and Corun Jaron Sellars, 29 of Rome, were arrested on North Broad Street after police found them to be in possession of dangerous drugs.
Reports stated that the suspects possessed dangerous drugs that were not kept in their original prescription container, which was unlabeled. Police also found marijuana on her possession.
Police added that Sellars also ran from police in an effort to avoid arrest, ignoring several commands to stop. He was arrested after a short foot chase.
Thompson is charged with drugs not in original container, possession of marijuana, distribution of marijuana and distribution of dangerous drugs.
Sellars is charged with drugs not in original container, possession or sale of dangerous drugs, obstruction of law enforcement, possession of marijuana, distribution of marijuana, and probation violation.
