Angela Hoyle, 47 of Lindale, was hit with additional charges after she reported to serve a jail sentence on Friday.
Reports stated that authorities found methadone on her inside the guard line of the jail.
Reports added that Hoyle was sentenced to serve four weekends for a previous crime and was there to serve her first.
Hoyle was charged with crossing a guard line with contraband and possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
