James Ronald Dixon Jr, 36 of Ooletwah, Tennessee, was arrested in Rome Wednesday on numerous counts of theft by taking and criminal trespass.
Reports stated that on July 15, 2015 Dixon pried the door to a candy machine at the west Rome Wal-Mart open and took a quantity of quarters. The damage to the machine was under $500.
That same say, Dixon pried a candy vending machine open at the west Rome Zaxby’s, taking a quantity of quarters. Damage to the machine was under $500.
Dixon then allegedly continued his crime spree by going to the east Rome Zaxby’s, breaking open a vending machine and taking its money before doing the same thing at the Martha Berry Highway Zaxby’s.
Dixon is charged with four counts of theft by taking and four counts of criminal trespass.
