Three people were arrested at the Kings Inn on Martha Berry Boulevard during the execution of a search warrant that ended up resulting in Floyd County law enforcement agencies finding a large amount of drugs and weapons.

Joshua Lee Taylor, 39 of Baileytow, Alabama, was found inside the hotel room with 208.3 grams of methamphetamine packed for resale, a large amount of cocaine packed for resale, numerous non prescribed prescription medications, two bags of suspected marijuana, and a glass smoking pipe.  Offiers also found two loaded handguns.

Nikki Jean Kent, a 33 year-old homeless woman, was also in the room with Taylor and arrested.

An employee at the hotel Indubhai Matibha Patel, 77 of Rome, was also arrested for allegedly cursing and yelling at officers during the execution of the search warrant.

Reports stated that Taylor refused to answer the door and as a result law enforcement officers forcibly made their way in.

Taylor and Kent were charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, trafficking  meth, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, two counts of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana,  two counts ofdrugs not in original container, obstruction of law enforcement officers, criminal trespass and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance.

Taylor is also charged with being a fugitive from justice.

Patel is charged with disorderly conduct.
