An inmate at the Floyd County Jail, Wendy Ann Bagley, 51 of Rome, is now facing additional charges after she allegedly attacked jail officers.

Reports stated that Bagley became irritated and began swinging a cane while yelling curse words on Monday evening.  Jail officers stated that when they attempted to restrain her she started to take swings at them, hitting on in the arm and another in the stomach.

As a result of the incident she was charged with two felony counts of obstruction of law enforcement officers, two misdemeanor counts of simple assault and two misdemeanor counts of simple battery.

She was arrested in late July for possession of marinuana and probation violation.

Wendy Ann Bagley, 50 of Rome, was arrested this week after being accused of possessing marijuana and a glass pipe in her Watters Street home during a probation check.

Reports stated that Bagley also admitted to using methamphetamine.

She was charged with felony probation violation, misdemeanor possession of marijuana less than one ounce and possession of drug-related objects.
