Tina Louise Horner, 44 of Rome, has been charged with abusing an elderly woman.

Reports state that Horner was originally arrested on July 22nd for cashing two stolen checks at United Community Bank for a total of $750.  Authorities said that Horner forged the victim, an elderly woman’s name on the checks.
In July she was charged with felony forgery in the first degree, misdemeanor obstruction of a law enforcement officer and giving a false name to a law enforcement officer.

However, this week, police added additional charges of two felony counts of identity fraud and two felony counts of exploitation and intimidation of elder persons. She was also charged with two misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree forgery, two misdemeanor counts of theft by taking and two misdemeanor counts of theft by conversion.
