A 52 year-old Rome man reported to police that thousands of dollars of prescription medication was stole from him at Chuck’s Corner on South Broad Street.
The man reported that he had left his medicine on the front counter and went to the back of the store to charge his cell phone. He added that when he came back close to 20 minutes later the bag of medicine had disappeared.
Reports stated that police interviewed three people who were in the store at the time and were told that they saw or knew nothing.
Police did not find any of the drugs on any of the suspects after a search.
