Rome Man Accused of Stealing Items from Car

Perry Lee Barnes Jr., 33 of Rome, was arrested on Monday after police said he broke into a car and stole three gold rings and a social security card.

Reports stated that on June 14^th of this year he entered into a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica at a home on Kingston Avenue and stole the items.

A day later, reports stated the he pawned the jewelry.

Barnes is charged with felony entering an automobile with intent to commit a theft.
