Samantha Denise Rodriguez-Ortiz, 32 of Rome, turned herself into the Floyd County Jail this week for allegedly lying to police about a kidnapping.
A warrant stated she lied when she told police a man was involved in a kidnapping.
Rodriguez-Ortiz is charged with felony false statements, obstruction of law enforcement officers, and a probation violation.
