Dalton Anthony Earwood, 25 of Rome, was arrested at his home on Robinson Avenue for allegedly attacking a woman in the residence.
Reports stated that Earwood hit the woman in the mouth, which resulted in a cut on her top lip, “seriously disfiguring” it. The officer added that the hit could have “possibly affected the use of the top lip.”
Reports went on to say that Earwood also broke the victim’s cellphone during the altercation.
Earwood is charged with aggravated battery and criminal trespass.
