A mother and daughter were arrested last week in Calhoun on dozens of forgery charges. Reports said that Crystal Michelle Silvers, 31 of Cartersville, and Charlotte Lenore Miller, 62 of Calhoun, were arrested after authorities investigated a case involving stolen checks.

Silvers is charged with 126 counts of fourth-degree forgery, and one felony count of identity theft.

Miller is charged with 10 counts of fourth-degree forgery and felony identity theft.

The investigation is ongoing.
