A single car accident on Highway 411 near the Bartow and Floyd County line resulted in one passenger being transported to a Rome hospital and another running from the scene.
Reports said that when responders arrived at the accident near Reynolds Bridge Road they found a male with numerous trauma injuries including a possible head injury.
Reports added that a second patient that was ejected from the vehicle and then ran from the scene prior to arrival of all responding units.
Bartow County authorities are still searching for the male.
