Jeffery Eugene Warren, 55 of Rome, was arrested at his home on Coral Avenue this week on numerous drug charges.
Reports stated that Warren removed a pill bottle filled with methamphetamine and attempted to hide it from officers by throwing it across the yard. Officers added that Warren then refused to comply with commands as he was being patted down.
During the search, reports stated that officers found marijuana in Warren’s front pocket.
After arriving at the Floyd County Jail deputies stated that they found suspected meth on Warren.
He is charged with felony tampering with evidence, obstruction of law enforcement, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance by an inmate, possession of meth and a failure to appear warrant.
