Terry Clifford Goodman, 37 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said they spotted him driving at a high rate of speed on GA Loop 1.  Reports said that after pulling over police detected an odor of alcohol.

Reports added that Goodman failed a field sobriety test and was found with a bottle of lemonade that allegedly contained vodka.   Officers said that Goodman told them that he had also taken a Lorcet earlier in the day.

Three children, ages 4 years, 6 years and 8 months were also in Goodman’s vehicle.

He was charged with three counts of endangering a child by DUI, driving under the influence, open container and speeding.
