Markie Nolan Hultberg, 24 of Adairsville, was arrested in Rome recently after he allegedly assaulted a 71 year-old woman.
Reports said that Hultberg assaulted the victim in front of a child. Police said that Hultberg “commited an act which placed another in fear of receiving a violent injury.”
Reports added that during his arrest Hultberg did not cooperate.
He was charged with simple assault, cruelty to children and obstruction of law enforcement.
