A search to find a missing man in the Etowah River resumed today. Reports said that the man was seen jumping off the Etowah River Bridge on the East Rome Bypass around 8:30 Tuesday evening. When authorities arrived on the scene they found several personal items on the bridge, but never saw the man.
Rome Police had to call off the search on Tuesday due to the bad weather and low visibility.
