The Family Resource Center recently raised almost $19,800 from their 2016 Night at the Movies event. The proceeds from the event go toward the center’s programs to prevent child abuse. This year an estimated 430 people attended the event.
According to Tina Bartleson, Executive Director, “This was our 16th Annual “Night at the Movies”. Held at Rome Cinemas on Shorter Avenue, this event is a standing tradition for many in the Rome/Floyd county area and included a variety of food provided courtesy of local favorite restaurants and caterers. Patrons chose from one of six blockbuster movies and enjoyed an evening of fun and fellowship—all for a good cause.”
