A Floyd County Jail inmate has been charged with breaking into a home on Oak Street. Reports said that Letitia Mel Chapman, 51 of 70 Tom Bing Road in Silver Creek, was jailed n Sunday for a probation violation. On Monday she was additionally charged with first degree burglary, forced entry.
Authorities said that she broke into the home on Oak Street back on January 18.
