An employee at Jefferson Southern in Rockmart was airlifted to an Atlanta hospital after he was found pinned by a machine. Reports said that officials were dispatched to the autoparts maker just before 9am Wednesday.
Chief Todd Queen from the Rockmart Fire Department said that when they arrived the patient had already been removed from the machine.
Jefferson Southern has not made a comment and no word on the medical condition of the patient

Our parts are stamped out of steel and then welded. We produce several parts that are part of the “white body” or interior shell of the car. These parts are not very visible after the vehicle is completed, but they are vital to the strength, safety and performance of the car.
