Rome Police arrested two women, Delaney Scott Ray, 20, and Kelesha Corron Dorsey, 19, and charged them with a murder that occurred Tuesday, December 22. Reports said that Cristobal Becerras-Contreras was found with a gunshot wound outside a home on Wood Creek Way. Police added that the women, along with 25 year-old Kyle Anthony Strother, were attempting to commit a robbery when the shooting occurred. Strother is yet to be arrested.

Strother is described as a 6-feet, 3-inches tall balk male and weighing close to 180 pounds with distinctive tattoos on his face.

Officials said that Becerras-Contreras was taking out the trash Tuesday morning when he was allegedly ambushed by the suspects..

The body was sent for an autopsy to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab.

Anyone who sees Kyle Strother or has information regarding his location is asked to call 911 immediately.

Rome Police was dispatched to a home at 9B Wood Creek Way just before 7 am Tuesday morning. When they arrived reports said that a body was found in the back yard with a gunshot wound. Neighbors spoke with Coosa Valley News and said that officers looked around the property for the weapon, but was never able to find it.

Authorities have identified the deceased as a 27-year-old Hispanic man.

The body was sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab for autopsy and more details are expected to be released today.
