Floyd County Sheriff Deputies arrested two people at the Ashwood Inn on Martha Berry Boulevard Tuesday on felony counterfeiting charges. Reports said that Isaiah Alphonzo Driver, 48 of Rome, and Brittney Leigh Harrison, 32 of Lindale, cashed counterfeit payroll checks back on October 26 at Bottle & Basket State Liquor Store on Redmond Circle.
Reports added that Driver’s check was for $470 while Harrison’s was for $462.
Both are charged with negotiating counterfeit checks.
Driver is also charged with being a fugitive from justice.
