Floyd County Sheriff Deputies raided a home on James Street this week, and in the process arrested two individuals, that Joshua Michael Mendez, 35 of Rome, and Cynthia Diane Rape, 28 of Trion on drug charges. Reports said that deputies found chemicals to make methamphetamine during a search of the home.
Mendez is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of meth with the intent to distribute and parole violation.
Rape was charged with felony possession of meth.
