Audelio Enrique Perez-Velasquez, 37 of Rome, was arrested on Monday after giving a fake name to a police officer during a DUI stop. Reports said that Perez-Velasquez was pulled over on South Broad Street and was arrested for DUI. Reports added that he gave the officer a fake name during the stop and when he was taken to jail he also signed documents with a false name.

He is charged with making false statements or writings, giving a false name, address, or birth date to law enforcement, DUI, driving without a license and failure to maintain lane.
