Yolandrea Yevette Crittenden, 51 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she attacked her 55 year-old ex-husband with a brick.
Reports said that the altercation began when Crittenden slapped the victim while he was attempt to get away from a scuffle. Crittenden then proceeded to push the man to the ground.
Police went on to say that Crittenden slapped the victim again before kicking him.
It was then she reportedly picked up a brick and attempted to beat the man with it.
Authorities added that when they attempted to place Crittenden in custody she refused to place her hands before her back and attempted to flee.
Crittenden is charged with simple battery, simple assault and two counts of obstruction.
